Right on cue, a V8 with a hole cut in the bonnet with a home-made air intake sticking out drove past, the driver wearing a camouflage cap and black jumper. Wikipedia has a not bad definition here. Yes, the bogan, a kiwi classic, NZ is carpeted with them, still to this day.

I was late. I have obviously gotten over the jet lag because I accidentally slept in, having been used to waking up at 5 or 6 am every day. No harm done, though there was a recurring noise throughout the day with a Yorkshire accent reminding me about it.
In flying news, today was two circuits, or more preciseley two sessions with heaps of circuits. A curcuit being take off, fly around the airport in structured form, land, and take off again before coming to a stop. A big step for any student pilot, taking off and especially landing! It is quite a handful with loads if different things going on all at once.
Tomorrow and Monday are no-fly days. No excuses for not having studied properly for Tuesdays’ exams..
