And then it rained. And rained.. and rained some more. This is Mount Maunganui although a renaming might be in order, the Misty Mountain springs to mind.
When the school reopened on Tuesday unfortunately the weather had closed in and there was no flying to be done. When learning to fly it’s all VFR – Visual Flight Rules. Which means no visibility, no flying!
Tuesday evening I had two exams, Air Law and Aircraft Technical Knowledge. On the whole I think I did OK but with a full week of flying fitting in study for these two subjects was a huge squeeze.
So.. the forecast for this week is not great, which might not mean a whole lot of flying. I have been handed now the next subject to study for another exam next Tuesday – (ironically) Meteorology.
