Urrgh.. I awake Tuesday to the unfortunate blocked up sensation that could mean only one thing – a cold. I blame the 2-year old niece as the primary disease carrier. My brother thinks it was the Bison grass vodka from Sunday night.
A new arrival today, Clive from England. He did his PPL last summer and liked the school so much he has come back to do a CPL. He has opted for the on-site accommodation deal, and can be seen as one of the “hard-working students” lounging on the balcony of this photo, on the right. Middle is Tim and left is Kelvin.
When walking past and asking for suggestions as to what I could photograph for the blog, they suggested “the sun”. So there it is! And nice and warm it is too,
I should point out this helicopter outfit in the photo is nothing to do with the flight school (Euroflight), they just use part of their building for accommodation.
Even with the cold I sort of have to take the scheduled exams at 4:30, officially known as PPL Human Factors, and FRTO Aeronautical Radio Telephone Practices.
I didn’t do too bad I reckon, I did study hard and I should have passed them both, official results don’t come out for 7 days though so in the meantime – more flying!
