Here I am in Berlin. A lot has happened since my last post, including moving to Switzerland to live!
I managed to convice the NZ civil servants to allow a European sitting of my exams for Aircraft Technical and Navigation. The catch – it has to be supervised at a NZ embassy. The one governing Switzerland is in Berlin, so what a great excuse for a visit as I have never been here until now.
So far all I have seen are the food shops outside, and more of the inside of my books and maps. However Andreas the badly behaved German also in town from Basel, has twisted my arm into going to Brauhaus-Mitte tonight.
Best behaviour though, it’s a 9am start for the exams tomorrow!
