Another day frustrated by clouds covering the hills to the South West, all the while at the Mount, the sun was shining. Taunting me. After two days with no flying I had to do something, so went in today for the last remaining piece of (non cross-country) cirriculum, the snappily titled Short Field Take Off and Landings, SFTO. This consists of some runway length calculations, more power and steeper climb on takeoff, and slower approach and use of brakes on landing, among other things.
Also the master got hold of my camera, in a desperate move to try and plug his flight school. Some people will do anything for free publicity, so there it is, Euroflight. That’s another beer you owe me.
Now, I am hoping, and praying, that the weather will come right tomorrow for my cross countries..
