More thrills and spills today, involving stalling while falling sideways, and recovering, while losing as little height as possible.
I have done stalling before, but sideways at the same time is a whole lot of fun. If your idea of fun is propelling yourself straight downwards!
Once you get the hang of it though it’s not so bad. A quick recovery seem to be the key to saving your lunch from reappearing in your lap.

Major swot going on for tomorrows exams now. The last two theory ones, and I am going to pass if it kills me dammit! I am so brain dead, with all this flying and studying, and driving, the pace has been relentless.

But fair reader the many photos of blue skies you have seen day after day is due to end. A few clouds will be appearing over the next couple of days, and by Sunday rain is expected. And Sunday, unfortunately, is when my flight test is booked. The flight test being the “practical exam” after which, if passing, I get the license. The big one! We shall see.

Technical: Dual: 1.0 hrs, solo 2.5 hours, consolidation and wing drop stalls.
