Today there is a lot of competition for airspace, because of an airshow showcasing all sorts of old planes, including WWII simulated battles. Although the brightly coloured parachutes are probably a little different from real paratroopers!
There was a huge turnout at the Mount to watch the spectacle. There are heaps more pictures in the library for your enjoyment. Recently I bought an 18-200mm lens for my camera which got a good workout. Luckily I managed to get up twice in between the displays to get my training in.
The flying is coming along nicely, and my landings are getting better all the time. The wind dropped to more civilised levels. Monday is the day off, which I will be making full use of studying madly for Tuesdays’ two exams.
The forecast is not so great for the coming week, fingers are crossed there will be plenty of flying days.
Technical: 1.8 hours, circuits.
