So, I am back in England. Not much to say about the flight, but a surprising 29 degrees at Heathrow, and the not surprising five-hour traffic jam to get back to Nottingham.
What can I say about the whole experience other than..
- 4200kms driven
- 3 pens used up
- 320 pages of study notes written
- 4 exams passed
- 2 exams pending
- 29,000 commercial miles flown
- 14.3 solo hours flown
- 32.2 dual hours flown
- Longest stretch of consecutive flying days = 13
- !!!,!!! $$ and ££ spent
- Five pies eaten
No regrets… I now feel better if both pilots decide to eat the fish. I have really enjoyed the flying and after all the blood sweat and tears, and cash, will definitely come back to finish it and get the PPL. I might use this same blog – keep your eyes peeled in January. 🙂
