Himalayas
LHR

So, I am back in England. Not much to say about the flight, but a surprising 29 degrees at Heathrow, and the not surprising five-hour traffic jam to get back to Nottingham.

What can I say about the whole experience other than..

  • 4200kms driven
  • 3 pens used up
  • 320 pages of study notes written
  • 4 exams passed
  • 2 exams pending
  • 29,000 commercial miles flown
  • 14.3 solo hours flown
  • 32.2 dual hours flown
  • Longest stretch of consecutive flying days = 13
  • !!!,!!! $$ and ££ spent
  • Five pies eaten

No regrets… I now feel better if both pilots decide to eat the fish. I have really enjoyed the flying and after all the blood sweat and tears, and cash, will definitely come back to finish it and get the PPL. I might use this same blog – keep your eyes peeled in January. 🙂
