The weather has cooled down a bit today which is a nice relief. Also a relief is doing something different from instrumentation, so I am now free of the lampshade and able to enjoy a bit of scenery.
Today’s lessons took me out to a special part of the control zone for some low flying (200-500 feet). The exercises relate to observations of the effect of wind on groundspeed, and pilot perception. A second lesson consolidated the low flying adding steep turns and coastal turns.
The real action is happening tomorrow though, my first cross country, I can’t wait! Please be good weather..
Technical: 1.5 hours dual, low flying
