A chilly night with some frost. Could this be the last sunny day of the trip?

Here I am simulating loss of sight out the window by use of this fashionable lampshade headgear. The idea is to cover your view of the real world outside and fly just by use of the various gauges. This morning was the only time the weather report declared no discernable wind so not a bad day to get some instrument training in.
This part of the course is not part of the UK PPL syllabus, one of the major reasons a New Zealand PPL is considered a high quality one to own.

Technical: Dual 1.4 hrs, solo 1.0 hrs, instrumentation and hour building.
