On arrival the windsock was looking decidedly lower than yesterday, making for plenty of flying opportunities.
I flew thrice, once dual, twice solo, later on the wind kicked in again making for challenging circuits, eventually getting the better of me.
Pictured is one of the solos pre-takeoff, with me waiting patiently by the runway for wake turbulence from pesky scheduled flights. A grass runway in fact.
With the flying over, a bit of last minute cramming, then the Meteorological exam at 4:30. I think I passed this one.
No resting on laurels though, on the way out, handing back the Meteo book and collecting a new one – Navigation and Flight Planning, which should keep me occupied for a while. My poor brain.
In fact my poor brain is trialling a new beer from Steinlager this evening called “Edge”. Nice!
Technical: Dual 0.4 hours, Solo 1.2 hours, circuits.
